Synthetic Fiber Materials
Nylon: Nylon bristles offer excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance, withstanding corrosion from various adhesives such as instant adhesives and epoxy resins without chemical reactions. Its elasticity and rebound properties are excellent. After repeated dipping and application of adhesive, the bristles quickly return to their original shape, maintaining consistent form to ensure precise and uniform dispensing. Additionally, the relatively smooth surface of nylon bristles prevents adhesive residue and caking, facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance. This makes them suitable for high-precision dispensing tasks, such as fine-line dispensing on electronic components.
Polyester Fiber: Polyester bristles offer relatively low cost, making them suitable for mass production. Their low water absorption effectively prevents adhesive performance degradation from excessive moisture uptake. Furthermore, polyester bristles can undergo specialized processing to achieve varying hardness and density levels, adapting to dispensing requirements for adhesives of different viscosities. For medium to low viscosity adhesives, such as water-based adhesives and standard silicone, polyester bristles deliver excellent uniform dispensing results.
Natural Materials
-Animal Hair: Brushes made from natural animal hair are soft and elastic, gently contacting the surface of the dispensed object without causing damage. This makes them suitable for dispensing onto sensitive surfaces. The fibrous structure of animal hair also provides some oil absorption, allowing it to effectively adsorb and distribute oil-based adhesives for uniform application. However, natural animal hair has relatively low chemical resistance and is unsuitable for highly corrosive adhesives. It also carries a higher cost and requires more careful handling and maintenance.
Metal Materials (Special Applications)
