The mixing of the two-component adhesive is the key to achieving a good bond in the user's process. If the mixing tube is not used properly, it will lead to serious uneven mixing and result in the bad bonding strength. It is bonding failure.

 

As a result of a long time without replacing the mixing tube, the mixing blade in the mixing tube has lost its cutting effect, and can not evenly mix the two components. So the static mixer, as a two-component adhesive mixing key components, needs to be used in accordance with the standard use specification. As a consumable, it should be replaced regularly. Hand-held branch adhesive can be automatically mixed according to the correct volume ratio of each component. If the color is evenly distributed, it is well mixed. When mixing is complete, the adhesive will cure quickly.

 

Attach the cartridge to the glue gun and remove the end cap of the cartridge.

 

Extrude a small amount of adhesive, making sure that the sides are flush, thus keeping the actuator flush. For environmental reasons, mix the extruded adhesive with a small stick and discard. (Chemical waste before mixing, solid waste after mixing and reacting)

 

Attach a mixing tube and extrude an amount of adhesive equal to the length of the mixing tube.

 

Apply adhesive to substrate the bonded parts together within the operating time of the adhesive. Clamp and hold in place until the adhesive reaches initial curing strength. Never re-expose the adhesive to air after the parts have been laminated. The position of the bonded parts should be adjusted using a sliding motion to ensure alignment.
